Maria Eve Studio is a wedding and portrait photography business based in Melbourne, run by Maria Shiriaeva. This page explains what personal information I collect, why, and how I look after it.

What I collect
When you enquire, I collect the details you share in the contact form: your names, email address, phone number, wedding date, location and anything you tell me about your plans.
If you book with me, I also collect what’s needed to prepare and deliver your photography: billing details, your wedding timeline, key contacts on the day, and any special requests.
I also take photographs of you, your guests and your wedding day.

How I use it
I use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare your quote and contract, plan your wedding coverage, send invoices, and deliver your gallery.
I don’t sell or rent your information, and I don’t share it with anyone except the services I use to run my business (described below), or where the law requires it.

Your photographs
Your contract explains how I may use images from your wedding, for example in my portfolio, on my website or on social media. If you’d prefer that some or all of your images stay private, tell me and I’ll respect that.

Where your information is stored
I use trusted online services to run my business, such as my website platform, email, client management, gallery delivery and invoicing tools. Some of these services store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

Cookies and website analytics
My website uses cookies to work properly and to show me general information about how visitors use it, such as which pages are viewed. This information doesn’t identify you personally. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings.

How long I keep it
If you enquire but don’t book, I keep your details while my business is operating, in case you get back in touch. You can ask me to delete them at any time.
If you book, I keep your records for as long as required for business and tax purposes, usually five years.

Your choices
You can ask me to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you at any time. Just email me and I’ll respond within 30 days.
